D1.2 – Report on final new materials developed
(perovskite and charge extraction layers)
June 2025
The purpose of this deliverable is to report about the range of perovskite absorbers, with bandgaps >
1.7 eV, 1.5-1.7 eV and < 1.5 eV, developed within the VALHALLA project and the charge transport layers optimized for each bandgap.
D2.2 – Develop a highly efficient (>26%) cell technology which surpasses the stability thresholds which can be transferred to WP3 and 4 for further development in the project
June 2025
This document describes the achieved performances of solar cells containing perovskites fabricated using two strategies: co-evaporation and sequential evaporation. In co-evaporation the perovskites are prepared by simultaneous sublimation of the precursors, whereas in sequential evaporation first the inorganic precursors are sublimed into a thin film which is then converted into a perovskite film when the organic precursor is sublimed on it, followed by an annealing step.
D2.3 – Realise a semi-transparent perovskite PV cell with >10% efficiency and >50% ATV
November 2025
The purpose of this deliverable is to describe the efforts in VALHALLA to achieve technological proof-of-concept of a semi-transparent perovskite solar cells with PCE > 10 % and AVT > 50 % achievable within the project’s vacuum-processed device framework, supporting applications such as building-integrated photovoltaics (e.g. power-generating windows)..
D3.1 – Develop highly efficient modules (23%) with an intermediate bandgap perovskite (1.5-1.7 eV)
July 2025
This deliverable is about showing a perovskite module demonstrator of active area 100 cm2, with a target efficiency of 23% (power output of 23 mW/cm2 in STC).
D4.1 – Identify accelerated stress conditions that lead to similar degradation as in real life outdoor stress conditions
May 2024
The purpose of this deliverable is to compare the effect of different stress conditions on the performance of perovskite solar cells as a function of stress time. And in particular to derive a correlation between indoor-accelerated stress conditions to real life outdoor conditions.
D4.2 – Demonstrate real-world (outdoor) TRL5 perovskite module stability matching that of Si-based modules
December 2025
This document contains the final outdoor stability assessment of the perovskite cells and minimodules
developed within the Valhalla project.
D6.5-1 – D6.5-I – Scientific Workshop and proceedings
June 2023
The LCA Workshop was meant to help the organisations present in our consortium in better understanding the process in an LCA/supply chain evaluation and the type and extent of data that is needed in order to have good quality evaluation.
D7.4 – Ethics assessment of the consortium
June 2023
The aim of this document is to describe the outcome of the ethics self-assessment of the VALHALLA consortium and project. As such, it is based on the Horizon Europe “How to complete your ethics self assessment” (version 2.0 from May 13th 2021). Three main areas were identified as relevant for VALHALLA, namely; “Personal data”, “Non-EU countries” and “Environment, health and safety”. Finally, we also assessed the “potential of misuse of results”.
