On March 12th, the PEPPERONI project hosted a highly successful webinar featuring our Project Coordinator Professor Henk Bolink from the Institute of Molecular Science (ICMol), University of Valencia. The session, titled “How Can Vacuum Processing Improve the Stability and Efficiency of Single-Junction Perovskite Solar Cells?”, drew strong interest from researchers, industry professionals, and renewable energy enthusiasts alike.
Professor Bolink, a leading figure in optoelectronic devices shared insights into VALHALLA’s advancements in vacuum-based processing techniques. As a pioneer in dry processing for perovskites—with over 350 scientific publications and numerous patents—his presentation offered deep technical value and forward-looking perspectives on how to scale these materials for a sustainable and competitive energy future.
The webinar concluded with an engaging Q&A session and sparked discussions around the future of vacuum deposition, bandgap engineering, and eco-friendly solar manufacturing.
We thank everyone who attended and contributed to making this event a success!
